World AIDS Day (Dec. 1) campaignFrom: 2017-10-18
Dec. 1st is World AIDS Day mandated by World Health Organization (WHO).
There were approximately 36.7 million people living with HIV at the end of 2016. The first of the United Nations’ 90-90-90 targets to end the HIV epidemic is for 90% of people living with HIV to learn their HIV status. HIV testing is therefore essential to achieving “the first90”. Around 30% of people with HIV are unaware of their infection. The only way to determine a person’s HIV status is for them to have an HIV test.
Therefore, AccuBioTech launch a campaign for HIV testing. We designed and printed leaflets in English, French and Spanish for better understanding about:
WHAT IS HIV?
WHAT IS AIDS?
HOW IS HIV PASSED ON?
YOU CAN GET HIV FROM
YOU CAN’T GET HIV FROM
SIGN OF AIDS
HOW CAN I LIMIT MY RISK OF HIV TRANSMISSION THROUGH SEX?
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF A HIV TEST?
IS THERE A CURE FOR HIV?
We will send these leaflets together with some quantity of Accu-Tell® Anti-HIV 1/2 Rapid Tests to our distributors worldwide with the aim to help more people learn their HIV status.
Let’s take the challenge to end AIDS!
